No matter what you may ask of your followers, you must be able to do yourself. Leading by example is the only way to be an effective leader. You cannot lead anyone if you cannot lead yourself first.

If your new to the Internet Marketing industry, you will want to pick at least 2-3 strategies in the beginning to implement your marketing plan before mastering others. However, don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
Traffic Strategies:
Attraction Marketing
Keep in mind that when using any of these strategies that your goal is to build a relationship with your customer. If you can first get a person to feel comfortable talking with you and then trust you; then that person is great deal more likely to buy from you.
Congruence throughout your Online Presence, (ads, blogs, videos profile, etc.), is a major part of building that trust.
TIP: Use words and language that attracts your profile prospect. If you haven’t already, pull out a sheet of paper and create a list of qualities or traits your ideal customer would consist of to be motivated to buy from you.
Banner Ads
To be in total control of your advertising, you will want to place banner ads with a picture of you or someone in your company. It is a known fact that faces have a higher click through rate.
Action Challenge

The menu is actually part of your theme functions. To exclude pages from apprearing on your WordPress Menu, log into your dashboard. Then select Appearance, then Editor. Click on the header.php file located on the right hand side of the screen.
Once your header.php file is open, scan through the code language carefully until you find a line that reads wp_list_pages(‘parameters’). See Image 1. Note: The line will not say “perameters”, that is just an example of what it is.
IMAGE 1
Solution: At the end of the parameters, add “&exclude=p1,p2″ See Image 2. Note: Replace the numbers in p1 & p2 with the actual id numbers of the pages that you do not want to show up on the menu. You can add more pages to exclude by continuing the sequence with a comma, p and then the id number.

You can also remove the entire wp_list_pages line in the case that you create a lot of pages that you want to exclude from the menu to make it less complicated.

How To Create and Place Banner Ads
Banner advertising is a fantastic way to grow your business online. Placing banner ads helps customers get a feel for your business with an image and text. Want to know where and how to place your banner ads? Need a banner image?
Banner Ad Placement Method.
Open Google search page and type the most common keywords that would be used to find your type of business. Locate the first non-sponsored link and click it. View the page you opened and see if there is an option for advertising. If there is, click on the advertising link and research if they have a banner advertising option.
If they do, find out what sizes of banners they post and payment options. If they do not, repeat the first steps again until you find a website that relates mostly to your type of business that offers advertising. I was able to do this even for a company that sells wine barrel racks, so never give up.
Payment terminology.
There is certain terminology used for how you pay for banner advertising. CPM (Cost Per Thousand) is when you are charged for each thousand impressions. Impression means your ad has loaded onto a website when being viewed. A good site to advertise your banner on will not charge more than $2.50 per CPM.
CPA (Cost Per Action) means you will pay per action, which can be either a click on your ad or a conversion. A conversion is when someone fills out a form on your website. I believe this payment method offers better results.
CTR (Click Through Rate) is simply a ratio of impressions to clicks. For example, if you get 100 impressions and only 1 person clicks on your banner ad, that would be considered a CTR of 1%.
CPC (Cost Per Conversion) means how much you are paying for one lead.
Banner Ad Creation.
Based on what you discover when looking for websites to place banner ads on, you will want to create your banner ad accordingly. Write down the dimensions of the banner you would like to place. Also, take note of what the website looks like that you will be advertising on.
If you do not have the software or skills, here is a link to a website where you can create your own original banner ad image. It also has options to create a flash banner as well.
Some people prefer flashing banners where others do not. I have no personal preference on this other than a flash banner can say more than a non-flashing one and you can also time how fast it flashes.
Exercise.
Go find at least three different websites to place banner ads on. Create your banner ads, then purchase advertizing from each and see how well they do on each site. When you find that one website does well, place more ads with that site in the future.
The more websites you research and place ads on, the better your results. Thank you for reading this post and I wish you much success!
